I just found this on my bed, I find it a bit scary, what is it?

Imagine this: you walk into your bedroom, ready to relax, when you find strange reddish-brown objects on the bed. You pick them up: small, capsule-shaped, shiny, and unfamiliar. Fear immediately sets in. Are they insect eggs? Strange seeds? Medicine? Or something serious?

1. Softgels (dietary supplements or medicines)
Their shape and color resemble those of common softgels, such as supplements containing fish oil, vitamin E, or krill oil. They detach easily and can end up in the litter box unnoticed. If you or someone you know uses supplements, check if there is a suitable softgel available.

2. Seeds
: Less likely, but some seeds, such as pomegranate or date kernels, can have a smooth, dark appearance. However, seeds generally have a more fibrous or opaque texture, in contrast to the shiny, gelatinous surface visible here.

3. Insect exoskeletons or droppings?

This is a common fear: thinking that it has something to do with insects. Fortunately, these objects do not resemble insect eggs, larvae, or droppings. Most insect eggs are white or translucent and irregular in shape. In this case, the objects are too uniform and shiny to be organic material from insects.
